The 2016/2017 JSRA Metropolitan Series will come to a close this weekend at the Perth Motorplex, with the fifth and final round of the series.
Jackson Derrick and Blake Webb have been the form drivers of the Top Star division so far and are extremely close in points heading into this weekend’s final round and will both be looking for a good night’s racing to earn some valuable points.
Jake Avins will race in his own car this weekend and is in good form after winning Round 8 of the JSRA Country Super Series at Augusta-Margaret River Speedway last weekend. Izak Davies started the Metro Series off going through undefeated in Round 1, but has since suffered mechanical dramas and will hope to finish the night’s racing this weekend.
Mitchell Bosveld has had a mixed season and will look to finish the season in a strong way, but will have Alex Swift, Isaac Arnold and Ebony Does amongst the competition.
In the New Star division, Bryden Southwell has been one of the most consistent drivers of the season and will look to finish in a strong way, as will Luke Malcolm who has been in top form of recent times. Jade McKeagg is the only other driver in the New Star field and has had a great season this far.
Be sure to head to the Perth Motorplex this Saturday evening, for the Final Fast Racing Series event and Final Round of the JSRA Metropolitan Series for season 2016/2017.
