Although only a small field of New Stars are nominated, the action won’t disappoint with Round One winner Chloe Dellar in the field, along with a number of Geraldton locals who will look to take a win on home soil including the in-form Travis Strelley, Emma Ahearn, Alicia Short and Murphy Reid. Brock Lake, although only new to the sport has shown that he will look to move up the field, after his efforts at Moora a fortnight ago.

Darryl George will be the driver to beat in the Top Star ranks after winning the opening round of the series at Moora. George won’t have it all his own way though, as Blake Webb and Kurtis Blackburn will look to get the upper hand, which they couldn’t quite do two weeks ago.

Bryden Southwell and Kayne Dellar have also shown that they are right on the pace and will look to take the top step of the podium this weekend. Lachlan Dellar had a difficult opening round of the series and will look to gain some valuable points back in Geraldton.

Eight Geraldton based drivers will be in the field this weekend with Mitchell Baker, Bradley Short, Bradley Chant, Ahryn Curtin, Rory Elsum-Beaumont, Rohan Thomas, Joshua Ahearn and Luke Malcolm looking to claim a win in front of their home crowd.

Jasmine Arnold, Nikita Donohoe and Tanika Webb had a brilliant battle in the feature race at Moora and will no doubt resume this battle in the Midwest on Saturday night.

Racing gets underway from 6pm at Geraldton City Speedway this Saturday night, so make sure you get your head on out to witness some of the best speedway action in Australia from our junior stars of the future.
