The Junior Speedway Racing Association of WA was established
in 1973 and is currently representative of a group of about 35 racing
members; all dedicated young West Australians together with their families
and support crews. This enthusiastic and courageous group of boys and
girls range from the ages 10 to 17 and race at the Perth Motorplex Kwinana
in the highly coveted Healthway Smarter than Smoking Series and the Healthway
Smarter than Smoking Country Challenge.
Junior
Speedway Racing is one of the safest and most exhilarating sports that
a young person can become involved with, upholding the highest standards
of conduct and professionalism at all times. Most importantly, experience
that is gained from motor racing can be very valuable in building future
road skills and safeguarding the road safety of our young drivers.
There
have always been high achievers in the sport because the same discipline
and commitment that drives to succeed on the race track also translates
to lives outside the sport. |
